Rumors suggest Battlefield 6 could take players back to the modern-day setting , which has been notably absent since Battlefield 4 in 2013. The last two entries in the series, Battlefield 1 and V , have taken players back in time to both World War I and II respectively. After V failed to make a notable impression, it's likely EA is going to try and win back its audience by going back to the modern day setting. Both Battlefield 3 and 4 thrived in their modern day settings, offering high levels of destruction with collapsible skyscrapers and all-out warfare with helicopters, jets, tanks, and more. With EA calling specific attention to its return of "all-out military warfare" it seems to indicate the modern day setting is return

Battlefield 6 _ is officially coming this year and it won't be long before the first glimpse is unveiled. As expected, the new _Battlefield will launch at the end of 2021 and it'll make a home for itself on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation

DICE LA will be primarily responsible for creating content for the live service portion of Battlefield 6 . With the studio having already helped on previous Battlefield entries and now being helmed by Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment fame (the studio behind Titanfall and Apex Legends ), DICE LA is in a great position to help make Battlefield 6 be all it can be and help to relieve some of the pressure on DICE proper to create new cont

The new Battlefield will be the first in the series since Battlefield V in 2018, which was a bit of a mess. The World War II shooter was buggy and had a lackluster battle royale mode to try and compete with other games, all of which led to DICE pulling support on Battlefield V __ less than two years after its launch. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in peoples' mouths. It seems like DICE has taken its time to try and make things right with Battlefield

With little officially known about the next Battlefield game apart from its player count, perhaps DICE takes a more cartoony approach with this title. A bright new visual style could change things up even further, creating a greater level of distance between the old and new styles by making use of some more unique graphics. If there is a campaign, players could be introduced to a squad of lighthearted and funny characters like the ones seen in the Bad Company subseries — with a group of misfits fitting the concept of a less serious Battlefield game to a tee. While some would surely be sad to see realism take a backseat, prioritizing fun over everything else could attract a new, larger audie

With the next generation of gaming officially underway with the recent launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, its only a matter of time before the usual heavy hitters enter the fray such as the Battlefield franchise. Battlefield 6 has been confirmed by EA to be in active development, already creating a surge of hype among fans for when they can get a first look and possibly even a release date for this latest installm

EA was clear that it wants Battlefield 6 to boast immersive battles, and to truly do so that means taking advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X's hardware. It may be worth it in the long run to dump the last-gen versions, though that does make it a lot harder for EA to recoup development costs from the game, given how much smaller the install base for the two new consoles

This rumor is particularly interesting considering just how different the two franchises are, as little similarities between Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare exist apart from their settings and the first-person perspective . However, this leak could change that, as one simple move could have huge implications for the Battlefield franchise. While this is still only a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt, fans can expect some big things if it proves t

**Battlefield 6 ** has huge potential, and having two studios like Criterion and DICE LA lend support puts EA's shooter franchise in a great position to finally outdo its longtime rival. Whether or not that comes to pass remains to be seen, but it seems clear EA is finally dedicated to putting forward the necessary resources to make it a real possibil

Battlefield , traditionally, has been a largely DICE-developed affair. While that has resulted in some stellar shooters pop over to this web-site the years, in today's gaming environment dominated by regular new content drops in games like Call of Duty or even Fortnite , DICE simply can't keep up. That fact was made clear with Battlefield 5 . Though developed as a live-service game in mind, Battlefield 5 saw frequent content droughts and feature delays, sometimes for months at a time. Battlefield games are notorious for releasing in a buggy state, and having to fix bugs and other various launch issues distracts from creating and implementing new game cont

In an investors call (via VentureBeat ), EA CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that the new Battlefield will be revealed this spring and began to tease the potential for the title. It's unclear whether or not the game will come to Xbox One and PS4 but it is confirmed to release on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. According to Jorgensen, Battlefield 6 will " mark a return to all-out military warfare ." He continued by talking about the scale of the new shooter. " The game takes full advantage of the power of next-generation platforms to bring massive, immersive battles to life with more players than ever before. Featuring maps with unprecedented scale, the next edition of Battlefield takes all the destruction, player agency, vehicle and weapon combat that the franchise is known for and elevates it to another level. The team is focused and the game is ahead of our internal milestones. We’ll reveal the game in the spring, and deliver a defining Battlefield experience for our players in the 2021 holiday season ," said JorgenBattlefield 2042 PRO TIPS - Improve Your Game!
