It shows a human girl running from the villainous Grineer army. She reaches a temple, and plants flowers inside for the Tenno, who were beings that were so cool that they just decided to stop existing after they kicked everyone's ass. We then get examples of that as each of the starting frames, the sword wielding Excalibur, the electricity flinging Volt, and the magnetic and shiny helmeted Mag all wreak havoc, wiping out hundreds, perhaps thousands of soldiers. At the end of the trailer, they are seemingly woken up by lightning and injustice, and are ready to wreck another entire army, Warframebase.Com thus starting the g
It's amazing to think that any one game could have a dedicated convention, let alone one that's not from one of the big five publishers, but Warframe has done just that. TennoCon is now in its sophomore year and its 2017 incarnation was by all accounts a smashing success. Hardcore Gamer was able to make the trek out to sunny London, Ontario to take part in all the festivities and given exclusive access to many from the Digital Extremes team. We caught up with the ever popular Rebecca Ford -- Live Operations and Community Producer for Warframe -- to chat with her about what Plains of Eidolon means for Warframe, the future of the series and TennoCon as a whole.
The trailer was revealed at this year's Tennocon, which is essentially E3 if it was only about Warframe . The trailer is sort of a prologue to the game itself, and it helps new players get better acquainted with the world they're about to drop i
Although the Chains of Harrow will provide Harrow’s blueprint upon completion, getting the usable Harrow Frame isn’t so simple. The player will need to acquire and build Harrow’s components before they can add him to their ros
I think it was just, how do you make scavengers feel ancient but futuristic at the same time. So that was a huge struggle. We had our concept artist really work on our off character designs to make sure we had something that was obviously a competent scavenger. So these people work hard, they have unlocked a way to survive on this very, very treacherous planet because you have all the military Grineer.
Finally, Harrow’s fourth ability unleashes the Covenant. This protects Harrow and his squad from all damage for a short time, while also buffing everyone’s critical chance at the same time. The more damage dealt to the team during the invulnerability period equates to more critical chance. For this reason, it’s highly recommended to bring critical-based weaponry when paired with Har
Considering the insane amount of content that's been added to Warframe over time, there's almost no downside to checking it out. The game is free, and each new update adds something new, and in cases bizarre to the game. If you want to play something that feels like a a version of Anthem that was actually good, then you can pick up Warframe just about everywhere, including PC, Xbox One, PS4, and even the Nintendo Switch so you can slice and dice on the
Grendel will arrive with Warframe ’s upcoming The Old Blood update, which also brings a bunch of new features. The Kuva Lich promises to be a player’s personal nemesis, acquiring whatever abilities were last used against it to turn them back on the Tenno. Melee 3.0 will finally finish with a phase 2 rollout that brings new heavy attacks, mid-air attacks, and lift and juggle attacks, making Warframe ’s melee combat even more satisfy
We try not to discuss Rivens when ranking weapons, but we can't ignore just how much stronger Rivens are on the default Kohm. The Kuva variant's base stats are marginally better than the default Kohm, making the default Kohm's Riven Disposition of 1.3 (as of writing) much more impactful. What really hurts this weapon is its effective range of 13 meters. Past that, this gun only deals 6% damage at 26 meters. The default Kohm, for comparison, only drops down to 27% damage at 25 meters. Galvanized Acceleration certainly helps, but it can also be used on the default K
The Kuva Grattler is the only weapon on this list that could be classified as a "lackluster" weapon. This Archwing weapon is effectively a flak cannon, firing explosive shells at targets that deal moderate damage. At least, they're supposed to. For whatever reason, Digital Extremes decided that the Kuva variant's base damage should be halved. A Kuva progenitor bonus offsets this negative, but is the farm for a 60% element worth
Unfortunately, most of this weapon's damage is Puncture and Impact, two of the worst damage types in the game. Slash procs from this weapon aren't going to hit very hard or occur much at all, leading to some problems when dealing with heavily armored targets in Steel Path. But if you don't care about following the meta and want to crush every bone in a Grineer's body, you won't find many hammers better than the Kuva Shil
