OK, so just a few minutes ago Twitter literally exploded with news of a major financial announcement: according to The Associated Press, The Walt Disney Co. will acquire Marvel Entertainment Inc., for $4 billion in cash and st
Frankly, of what little we saw, the show looks pretty excellent. The sense of humor and writing are top-notch, the cast and the acting are excellent, the characters and stories utilized looked good enough, and the visual quality of the show was a least two or three steps above Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 villains|https://spiderman2mix.com/ Earth’s Mightiest Hero
Overall, I feel that this game catered more towards pinball enthusiasts than Marvel fans. Don't be fooled true believers. The novelty of having Marvel characters wears off once you realize that this is in fact a pinball game. It is not only a pinball game, but a pretty challenging one to boot. If you're a pinball fan, by all means this one is for you. If you're not too big into pinball, then chances are you won't be too impressed with this one. This is by all means not a bad game. However, I can't say the same about it not being uninspi
What do you think of this mega-acquisition of Marvel by Disney ? Does it make you as apprehensive as me for the future or elated that we may have an enormous opportunity to see more comic films in the fut
In addition to Marvel: Avengers Alliance , Gazillion has the Super Hero Squad game for the toddlers and they have the upcoming Marvel Heroes MMO on the way, but still now word on a potential retail game based on The Avenge
After the footage, Clark Gregg joined the panel as a special guest and talked about how excited he was – as a comic book fan – to be a part of the not only the Marvel movies, but also Ultimate Spider-Man . Basically, he was the one who asked the producers if he could play Coulson in USM as well, and of course they said
One thing leads to another, the two runaways accept an offer to go to a shelter with strange men, the men forcibly take the runaways to a criminal chemist who tests synthetic heroin on them - and voila! They get superpowers (although this was later retconned so they were mutants all along, and the synthetic heroin simply triggered their x-gen
Pro - On the flip side, with Disney having such deep pockets, that means much more available funds to push MORE movies into production. It's not like Disney is buying Marvel because they were threatened by Marvel's market share and were trying to buy out the competition. No, Disney bought Marvel to use the property rights, not sit on them. This could mean we start seeing Marvel characters pushed into multiple forms of media. More cartoons, more comics, more live action TV shows and definitely more mov
Pro - Disney is a universal name with pockets so deep that God's hand would have a hard time reaching the bottom. Marvel is no slouch either in the household name department - but let's face it, they are no Disney. All that extra money, means way more marketing and increased traffic within the theme parks (sorry Universal but looks like you might lose the X-Men characters in your parad
Meanwhile, 2025's Marvel Zombies: Red Band #2 offers a twist on Marvel Comics' zombie virus . This time, all characters are sent to Battleworld, divided between the surviving heroes and the horde of the undead. For weeks, the survivors' numbers are gradually reduced as more and more of them get infected, making the zombies' threat exponentially big
As I already mentioned, Marvel Pinball comes with four different tables. However, this is mostly like getting four different maps. These four tables offer their own subtle twists to a conventional pinball table, but, in the end, they all play largely similar to each other. You have a button to launch the ball, buttons for the left and right flipper, and the ability to tilt the table. That's all. Although the game's physics are spot-on with capturing exactly how a pinball machine should play in real life, I feel that there was a missed opportunity here. Just because you have true to life physics, that doesn't mean you should be limited to simulating an actual pinball machine. There are some far-fetched scenarios on these tables already; for example: Wolverine and Sabretooth battle each other after hitting certain areas on the table. With that said, why not take it a step further, and offer something as fun and over-the-top as the characters that are featured. Marvel Pinball has four different machines, but once you have played one, you've played them all. This ultimately leads to a rather boring experience that will have you moving on very quic
Marvel Pinball is exactly what you would expect from reading the title alone; it's Marvel themed, Pinball fun. You get four different tables, and each table offers something from each of the superheroes it features. Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron-Man and Blade are your four superheroes with this title, and they also bring along with them some friends. Sabretooth, Silver Samurai, Dr. Octopus, Green Goblin, Mandarin (Whiplash) and Deacon Frost are some of the handful of recognizable characters that you will find on each respective table. Each table is very colorful and quite beautiful, and I'm sure hardcore Marvel fans will enjoy pointing all the little nods to its universe's enormous amount of content. So, how do these tables play, and is it worth your cash to download this title? Read on to find
